Path spans all around the area for trekkers and joggers to take advantage and enjoy the clean air and beautiful scenery.

Eating out in Lech

lech 1From ‘Brettljause’ (a small snack) to one of the many high calibre cuisine restaurants there is plenty of choice for the gastronomically challenged palate.  Most of the restaurants are open until 11am and at least five of the top hotels in Lech offer a half board package to dine in each others restaurants which enable you to eat in a different place each night if you wish to do so.

For those vegetarians the Kristiana Hotel offers a wide menu of mouth-watering dishes, as well as those wishing to partake of traditional Austrian cuisine.

Tipping In Lech

Where tipping is concerned, there are no laws but restaurants do include a tax and a service charge on you bill.  ‘Rounding’ up the amount is normally the custom and tips should not be left on the table.  (Approximately 5 per cent is considered fine). You will not be presented automatically with the bill so always ask. 

Taxi drivers usually receive an extra 10 percent over the meter fare while porters or bellhops average 1 Euro per bag.
