Team Building Stag Party Fun
Assault courses have been widely used by companies for team building exercises. The key is about working together, communication, identifying problems and creating solutions. There is of course 'no i in Team'. Some assault courses have been specifically designed with team working in mind. Designed to bring teams together, to encourage them to work and think as a group, to overcome the obstacle which has been put in front of them, and solving the problem as a team. Different scenarios can be used, for example:
- Booby Trap Trail: An elite SAS team are risking their lives to save a team member who has been injured whilst attempting to escape from the enemy camp. The injured team member has to be carried through the course, littered with lethal explosive devices such as ground mines, booby traps and trip wires. The team have to work together to ensure that they all make it home safely!
- Desert Island: The team has been shipwrecked on a deserted island in the middle of the pacific and a hurricane is on the way! Using materials found on the beach the team will have forty five minutes to build their shelter which has to be off the ground and able to withstand heavy rains and winds. The shelter will be tested with a timed monsoon.
- Pirate Challenge: As pirates you have stolen a chest full of treasure, the only problem is that the key to the chest is hidden on the other side of a lake! The team will have to design and build a raft to take you across the lake to find the key.
- Satellite Challenge: Using a Global Positioning System (GPS) your team have to find clues to enable you to complete the mystery challenge. Each location will include numbers of the combination lock which will release the transportation for the race home.
- Bridge Building: A structure needs to be built over a gorge in Africa. Your engineering company have won the massive contract, however, the CEO boss has called you to say that he wants a scaled down demonstration of the proposed structure in operation, ASAP! Your team have to design and build this scale model to impress the Bosses!
Each of these courses range from around thirty pounds per person.
As you would expect, the Stag will want a party to remember, a time for the boys to get together and have some fun. Who said that alcohol is required? For the athletic, competitive stag or for the stag who just wants to bond with his mates, develop and enhance friendships, but most of all have fun, why not try an assault course? It will be the most fun they've had in years!
