Hiya, well i was living in Wales at the time, and i met mine on a dating agency on the internet!!We met up about 4 days after we first chatted,(why waste time)?and it was love at first sight!!! Of course we both knew what eachother looked like first! Now a year and a half later we have had a baby, and life is good!!!

Yes, dating sites get bad press but it worked for me too I'd had a hard year and only signed up as a distraction - wasn't looking particularly.

You get to learn quite a lot about a person (not necessarily by taking things at face value). One funny thing was that I learned that among his many wonderful qualities, he's also a little careless. He'd left the name of one of the other girl's he was sending the same email to, at the top of the email he sent to me! I thought he was an idiot and thought I'd help him out by telling him what he was doing. lol

I gave him a short and sweet telling off with a few tips and I wished him luck and told him thanks but no thanks. Thing is he replied immediately with such a sincere and very funny apology that I couldn't dislike him. He clearly wasn't expecting anything back from me but there was something in that unguarded apology that made it hard to ignore him so we stayed friends. A few weeks went by with us just exchanging friendly emails. He knew I was dating someone else but one day said that we might be able to help our single friends by going out in a group. We did, and I wasn't seeing the other guy for very long after that. We just clicked.

That was nearly 5 years ago and I've never been happier!

We were very good friends with my fiance before. We have a lot of things that are common like eating a lot. I would say that I am the luckiest person that I found a very good and understandable partner.

Met my hubby in a nightclub which was called D&D's. Commonly known as divorced and desperate or desperate and diseased! LOL - i can confirm that neither of us fitted into any of these categories and the place has long since been closed down!

My hubbys mate made a date with my friend but turned out my husband was interested in me and vice versa but we were both too shy to talk to each other that night. To cut a long story short, his friend and mine sorted it out for us, my friend gave him my phone number and the rest is history 10 years later!

At our pre marriage course we had to say how we met, most poeple it was work or out for the night. We were talking on the way home about what we should have said. Our best were that he used to be my parish priest, or that we met at a pre marriage course with different partners lol!

After a year being single I signed up to a dating site got chatting to a nice looking lad thinking this aint gonna go anywhere. Anyway we chatted more and more and well he seemed to always be on late at night so I said look heres my facebook feel free to add me so we added each other, me still thinking this is not gonna go far. Anyway one he said something to me but then he was off to bed as was struggling stay awake so I gave him my mob no and then I got text. We spent the next day texting and he sent me a good a night text ending ly xxx. I knew what this ment but I asked him, this was the day before valentines day. I went into work very cheerful the next day and my phone was searched by the girls I work with and the same happened when I went into uni on the tuesday. My h2b had the same response from his work mates and his sister had picked up on the comments on facebook. We decided to meet so I took the train down to exeter under the promise that he'd drive me back for my afternoon shift (I no big risk). So we met up and instantly clicked. I knew he was the one for me from then and only on the way back that he said I was the one for him. Work found out I went to meet him and made jokes they'd get there hats out ready and this I told him as one my collegues put something on facebook. The next day I passed my driving test, which he was confident I would. We both wanted see each other again soon and on the phone he called me by what would be my married name so I questioned it and like yeah I want to marry you from there we put it on facebook that we were an item which went down well his family and my friends. His mum is dying to meet me (she tried to get me to go down on thursday) so I am going down again soon and my parents will find out next week that me and him are an item. He has given permission for me to come on and plan the wedding just got get the engagement ring and confirmation that its ok with the parents before its offical, but we are gonna wait a while yet. We just felt we want to plan it to how we want it so we can get it at the best price and save.

We met at work, different departments and jobs but we became close friends first.
Then, after 3 years, I asked her out. And its gone from there.

Hi :)
I met my Hubby Mark 11 (ish - we forget how many lol) years ago through my mum, they used to work together. Since then we fell in love, got engaged and married in 2008 and now have one little boy, our little inspiration Jak (he's now 2). We started the photography business erm... years ago and have been full time photographers since. After our own wedding and the porr quality photograph's (extremely blurry) photo's we came out with, well I was distraught and knew I could do a better job, so that is when the wedding side of the business formed. Since then, it's been going strong and I/We've photographed countless stunning weddings... every wedding I am at reminds me of my own, it's simply beautiful!
So there's a little about me, i'd love to get to know you all, send me a message if you want to chat and I hope I can help a few of you with your planning... I was once a bride and on a very tight budget at the time so know quite a few saving ideas - we handmade our bouquets, did our own photo board, invites and family made the cake and buffet lol. It was fantastic!
Leanne. xx
