Since the very start of our relationship my H2B has always been the breadwinner which i initially found difficult especially when it came to buying him pressies.... as obviously it was going to be using his own money...

Then i got creative......

And he has loved everyone and people comment on how unique my gifts are...

Last valentines day i took his fav pint glass and painted it...

He has had painted trains (i pinched his old stock), a cheque book of naughty favours, My diary - he loved that!!

So i guess the message is you don't have to spend anything to give your hubby a lovely pressie on the wedding day...

Cos as we know weddings cost enough as it is....

I read these posts about the football clubs today and thought what a good idea!

So i emailed Middlesbrough FC and they just got intouch! they doing a letter and getting Gareth Southgate to sign it for me!

Just as a quick addition to this thread, how is the present supposed to get to the groom on the morning of the wedding? It's not something I've really thought about until re-reading this topic just now....

after speaking to h2b last night i have decided im also going to get him a zippo
lighter and have it engraved with on our wedding day 10th may 2008 all my love x

Me and H2B aren't going to bother. Mainly because we'll be spending enough money on the wedding.
Plus it's just one more thing to worry about

I am paying for him to have a tattoo from a really good local tattooist (not on the morning of the wedding though ) as he's wanted one for ages. He is having lots of fun trying to decide what to get done. It won't be anything romantic or wedding-related though.

I like the idea which I read elsewhere on here of having something engraved inside his wedding ring as a surprise on the day...a bit more romantic, and no transportation problems as long as the best man doesn't lose the ring.
