My sister - chief bridesmaid and only bridesmaid will be wearing pale blue. I've told her she can choose her own which can be a bridesmaid dress or even an evening dress. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be the season for this colour so we're struggling. The only one I've found is on eBay and although is light blue it is too bright. She's seen a style by Dessy http://www.dessy.com/index.cfm?go=dresses&style=2046 in harbor blue that she likes but does anyone know if Dessy are expensive? I'm looking to spend maximum about 150 (less if possible!).

Ooh that's a lovely dress. I thin kDessy are fairly reasonably priced, should be able to get it for less than 150.
Or how about Alfred Angelo? I think they are around the same price.
Found this, this and this but you can get their styles in all different colours.

Or try Debenhams - this is 120

Oh I love the 1st Alfred Angelo one! The Debenhams one would be good but she wants floor length :( . It would have also been good as she's started working as a temp at Debenhams so would have gotten 15% off aswell!

Hi Sarah,

I had a look at your BM dress on the net and its currently being sold for $147.00 which converts to 77.95. Which doesn't seem bad at all :)

I was trying to find a stocklist near you. But Dressy don't appear to distribute in the UK.

:( Never mind but thank you for looking :) . My friends wore a Dessy dress for her friends wedding so I'm going to find out where it was from and if they were reliable etc.

....She's just replied to my email - it was from a shop about 10 miles from where I live - she's going to find out what the shop is called etc.

Ooh yay for finding a local shop! I think just trying out the wedding dress shops near you is a good place to start too, they usually have a good range and can order dresses in different colours for you.

I've been told that the Dessy dresses were about 200 each :( . However I love this dress http://a6.dessy.com/index.cfm?go=dresses in pale blue and I can get it from net bride for $183. If anyone has bought a dress over the net would you recommend it or not?

I don't think you would have a problem with buying the dress online, just check how much the shipping is to the UK and make sure that you won't get stung for import duty when it gets here. It's a lovely dress.
