We had a church wedding mainly because I attend church on a regular basis and it was important to me. I don't think hubby would have been fussed where we got married but chose the church for me which I really appreciated.

There was something extra special about making our vows in the eyes of God .

Licensed venue (UK) for us

We are getting married in a hotel

We decided to have ours in a licensed premises as we fell in love with this room and it just felt right.
h2b wanted a religious element to the ceremony so we are having a minister perform the ceremony at the hotel.

I missed this poll and dont know how to vote now but we had a licenced premises. We choose a hotel for two reasons one i'm not religious and two the two families are the opposite religions so we would have had to choose between the two and the two families being Scottish and Northern Irish it wouldn't have gone down well either way!! So we opted for a completely non religious wedding and although when we first started planning the wedding we had a few comments at the end of the actual day everyone loved it and had a great time and we had quite a few people say it was the best wedding they had ever been to so i never regretted my decision once!!
