I was watching 4 brides the other day (which I love) and 3 girls went to an Irish wedding and went to bed at 12 as it had been such a long day. They said this was quite late? All the weddings I've been to have finished (officially) about 1 when the entertainment finish and you get kicked out of the room. What have you planned? This particularly interests me as I felt my wedding finished early (about 12.15/12.30) because of the DJ not showing up. Also, just being nosey, but how late did you stay up yourself? We made it to 3 because I didn't want the day to end.

Our venue closes at 1am, but apparently they're going to keep the hotel bar open for us

Our DJ has to finish for 12.30am I think or 1am but the bar stays open for people who are staying till 2am We can have music on a CD Player then

We had the venue til midnight, and it kind of ended quickly as we had a coach booked to take most people back to the hotel. I had arranged for a late bar at the hotel, but not many people stayed up, as it had been such a long day.

Me and hubby retired to our room, I was just needing to get my hair down and the dress off. It was heaven!

I'm pretty sure all my music has to finish by 12 so this is when it will finish, and when I book the coach, I'll probably book it to return at 12.15am to take guests back. I'll be wanting to go to bed by then - take off all the make up, let the hair down, get the dress off, have a shower and get into bed. I know I'll be shattered!

Our's is booked to finish and buses leave for 1.15 am... There'll no doubt be a few parties carrying on into the night, but OH and I are staying away from anyone else - so we'll just have to have our own little party for two! He he!

i have no idea what we will be doing. We have booked to have our sit down meal for 7pm so gives us time to have some photos taken after the ceremony etc.
We will be spending the evening in the hotel but not sure whether we will stay in the restaurant or move to the hotel bar area.

Our entertainment finished at midnight, we hung around until about 12.30 and the hotel bar stayed open until the last people left which I am informed was around 3.30am!!

We went back to the room about 12.30 as were shattered but were up until about 2ish I think!!!

The function suite is open till 12.30, but last orders will be at 12am. The residents lounge will be open and the bar is serving till 3am - think we'll be heading off to bed long before that lol

Our bar and entertainment finish at midnight then we have to be out by half past!xx

Our venue had a 24 hour bar for the guests of the hotel, there were a lot of them. I finally went to bed at 1am but some of my guest were up till 5am!!! There were some sorry looking people at check out lol

our band finished at 12, coaches were booked for 12:30 but ended up not leaving until 1am thats what time we had room to. But hotel bar was open aslong as there was someone in it me and hubby lasted to 5 most folk went to bed at 4 but there was a few who lasted until 6:30. we still managed to get up at 9:30 for breakfast though!! xxx

We had a coach booked for 12.30 to take the majority of guest back to the hotels.

However we had about 20 guests staying with us so ended up sitting up till about 4 with cds on chatting about the day etc. the photogrpaher also stayed till 4 which i found hilarious !!!!
