I can't decide which photo is the best one to use and I'm stuck between using the darker background or the white one!

I have lightened, sharpened, pinched and resized but still unsure..

your comments would be great..

Thanks :good:

I prefer the darker backgrounds too. I think it makes the toppings stand out more.

I prefer the darker backgrounds, but what I'm not keen on is that they show the table and the cloth, You've heard me go on about photography for web sites often enough on the other forum. I'd prefer it if the background was more uniform ie. just the table.

Have you attempted it with a large piece of coloured card perhaps in a slightly lighter tone than the dark wood you have. Bend it so you have the same colour underneath and behind the figures.

I only took it on my dining room table because the bride wanted to see what the toppers looked like so she could decide to have the veil or not. Normally I dont do a darker background and stick to the white but when it came out I kind of thought it looked okay and wanted different opinions on using the darker background now and then.

Its too late now as the toppers were posted this morning but I think I may try my hand at incorporating the table with a backdrop of some type.

Thanks for advise!

I do like the dark one however i dont like the fact that the coloured cloth is to the side. It takes the attention away from the toppers. Saying that i wouldnt go with a complete black one because of the mans suit.

hope it helps xxx
