Hey Gav :)

I know you've got your live band booked for the reception, but Tim has just bought me a fantastic CD, and it immediately made me think of you and your wedding! Thought it might be good for filling it gaps between sets maybe?

Its called 'Strike', by The Baseballs - dunno if you've heard of it but it's basically 50's style rockabilly covers of modern songs - and I actually prefer this version for a lot of them!

Album details here - http://www.thebaseba...rike-uk-version

And check out their version of Umbrella!

Thought it might be worth a look - just a suggestion :)

I don't have the band booked yet actually. Unfortunately I think I'm setting my standards too high and I may have to accept that there isn't a band out there that does what I want and will still do weddings too!

Yes, I'm familiar with the Baseballs. Their version of Umbrella was posted to me on facebook a while ago. Definitely a lot better than the original!

Thanks for the idea, I think it could work really well in between sets.

Gav.
