I find twitter reallly fun to use (I am crystalvelvetuk on there) I've got lots of followers and have found myself listed under weddig professionals on several lists. So although I not technically looking for wedding stuff for me, I can see it being of great value.
If anyone else is on there, leave your user name and I'll follow you.

Although I'm on Twitter I rarely go on there, so it hasn't crossed my mind to, however, I may do now!

I have an account I use for business on there. I do try to add something most days, but I do it from Ping FM, so it updates my Linked in, Blog and Twitter accounts. This is me, but I only have 15 followers so far!

I've not used twitter to find any products yet though.

I am also not sure quite how you would be able to search out wedding suppliers other than to type tiara etc into the find people, but as far as I can see, that would only find people who have the name tiara. So I wait to be enlightened.
For businesses though, it is a great means of communication and increasing flow etc.
I am currently doing a giveaway to celebrate 200 days of my one a day challenge.
Normally when I do a giveaway on my blog, I attract about 15 relies max.
This current giveaway has so far attracted 30 responses and I havn't even started to look at the retweets etc. I'm definatley a fan and I'm now following you lot!!

Maybe a silly question (new to twitter), but how would you use it to find suppliers?
You could use the search function on keywords, or by finding one supplier and looking who they follow, or using a site like http://www.twellow.com/ - Yellow Pages of Twitter accounts.
