Hi folks
Just looking for some advice about how to know if I am experiencing anovulation?
The reasons I think that I haven't been ovulating are:
1. Irregular visits from AF
2. Long cycles (between 35 and 42 days)
3. Irregularity of length of AF(as short as 2 days, up to 5)
4. Irregularity of heaviness of AF (almost spotting, up to mid, but never heavy)
5. Really bad skin all month long
6. Into our 7th month of TTC and nothing
My doctor was quite shocked when I told him of my irregularity, so I am going in on Monday (CD21) to have bloods taken to test.
Is there anything I should be aware of at this stage? And, what will they check for with my bloods?
Have been keeping my temperature, but the chart is not changing (on CD18 now, but according to long cycles I shouldn't ovulate til next week).
Not willing to put this post into the fertility problems section yet, as I don't want to worry unnecessarily - we haven't been trying for long, but it's made a whole lot more frustrating by the irregularity of AF.
Has anyone had similar problems?
Thanks for being there - I have no-one else to talk to about all this, as we have decided not to tell anyone we are trying.
Thanks!
