I'm a journalist currently working for That's Life magazine (a women's weekly) and I'm desperately in need of a tragic or dramatic wedding story.

Perhaps a guest went into labour during the vows, maybe something abnormal happened on the hen do/stag night, perhaps there was a drama/accident on the way to the church, maybe the groom missed his flight and missed the wedding, maybe the bride's mother had a heart attack on the day of the wedding, perhaps the couple were touched by crime in the run up to the big day, meaning the wedding was cancelled, or the bride or groom had an allergic reaction to something meaning the day was delayed.

Basically I'm after any wedding stories that are shocking, dramatic or tragic that hasn't appeared in a consumer magazine before. Happy to read / listen to people's suggestions.
