If you do not spend the time reading these simple posting rules we will not spend the time telling you why your post was deleted. If you repeatedly ignore these rules we will delete your account.

NOTE : All posts in the Business Forum are pre-moderated before they appear. If they don't appear you probably broke the rules.

GENERAL POSTING

You are welcome to post in the WeddingChaos forums as long as you are offering impartial help and advice. With the exception of the Request a Service/Product and Wedding Professionals - Your business forums any post you make that is along the lines of 'I can make those', 'I sell those', 'Look at my website' etc will be deleted. If you want to recommend another business, they must not be a member of these forums, or a banned member.

PERSONAL MESSAGES (PM's)
DO NOT send PM's soliciting for business (whether it's your business or not) unless they are specifically asked for. If you do, your account will be immediately suspended.

YOUR 'MEMBER TITLE'
Once you get to 500 posts you can set your own Member Title - do not use this to advertise or name your business.

WEDDING PROFESSIONALS - YOUR BUSINESS FORUM
This has now been re-opened but only for the benefit of our Business Members who contribute to the forum over a period of time. If you have made more than 50 posts you are welcome to post details about your business within this forum. All threads are deleted after 4 weeks of no posts. Please take note of ALL the rules below, which still apply.

Whether you are a business or not, if you would like to post a 'Name and Praise' thread, you are welcome to do so, as long as both you and the Business in question have more than 50 posts. You may post an image in your own 'Tell us The Details' thread - not here. Simply link back to the post in your thread. If the item is not for your own wedding you may post about it in this forum, with images, only if both you and the business have made at least 250 posts.

If the business does not have 50 posts please only mention the company name (not URL) in your own 'Tell us the Details' thread and not here.

IMAGES & BUSINESSES
If you are a business and would like to post images that relate to your business, please adhere to the following;
So, just to make it as clear as possible - you can only post images within the 3 areas mentioned above - if this is still not clear... ask for clarification in the B2B Forum.

CONTACT DETAILS / WEBSITE URL / LINKS
Please make sure you leave your website address and any other contact details you have in your signature ONLY - DO NOT put links into your posts to your website, or anything that gives contact details of your business.. If you wish to draw attention to a certain area you can simply say something like 'Check out my new design on the Summer Collection page of my website' - if people are interested, they will go look.

SIGNATURES
Once you have been around for a while, and contributed 100 posts, you are able to include an image in your signature. Please do not use keywords with your links. Google and other search engines do not see the signatures. Other guidelines below.

Less than 100 posts
  • First line of text must be company name.
  • Second line of text must be URL and/or e-mail.
  • Third and FINAL line of text can be a single 'tag' line about the services offered.
  • Max font size 2 in all lines.
  • No images.
More than 100 posts (as above, and)
  • One image, no bigger than standard banner size (468*60)
More than 500 posts (as above, and)
  • One extra line for links to specific pages / photos for current offers
Forum Sponsors (as above, and)
  • One image, no bigger than 515*145
These rules will change from time to time which may mean that posts, especially of business images, may be in the forum from a while back, but which would not be allowed today. We don't retrospectively apply the rules, so we won't remove these posts. So, and this is the important bit, just because somebody else made one of these posts in the past, does not mean they had special treatment and we are being unfair to you by not allowing you to make the same posts today :)

Any questions or comments please ask in the B2B Forum - not via PM. You will need to PM me for access to the Business Forum if you can't view it.
