Venues to Hold Reception
The Victorian Engine Rooms were once in full use when the coal-driven engines powered the Bridge’s lifts. Now idle the beautifully maintained engines can certainly provide a stunning backdrop to any event that is out of the ordinary.
With immaculate spacious chambers and intriguing exhibits the venue will give you and your guest many topics of discussion during your reception, which can only add more spectacular memories to your wedding day.
120 guests can be accommodated at your reception in the Victorian Engine Rooms with seating for a sit down meal for 60.
Walkways - Imagine the panoramic views you can enjoy while holding your reception in the Walkways of the London Tower Bridge! You and your guests will have exclusive use for your wedding party and the venue can accommodate up to 250 guests.
If you are planning on a sit down meal the maximum that can be seated are 120.
The Walkways are available only after the Tower Bride Exhibition has closed for the day to visitors.
The Bridge Master’s Dining Room is licensed to hold weddings and civil partnership ceremonies with up to 40 people attending the ceremony, where once you have said your vows, you and your party can then move onto your chosen reception area.
The Dining Room is part of a self contained suite of rooms which used to be the Bridge Master’s home. This intimate area also includes a small lounge, a kitchen, a bathroom and a storage area. All of these rooms are included in the hire charges and can be used to provide a relaxed and welcoming area for you and your guests before the wedding ceremony.
