Graceland Wedding Chapel - Lovers of Elvis, or those who are looking for a ‘different’ wedding, can get married in the quaint old fashioned chapel which is adjacent to the Graceland Mansion. Gretna Green Wedding - When the Marriage Act of 1753 abolished common-law marriage in England and Wales couples did not like the idea of having to both have banns read and obtain a license. North of the border in Scotland they had refused to adopt the new law, which was great news for many runaway lovers who sort refuge north of the border in Scotland’s, Gretna Green.
