Brits Dirty Dance on Oprah Show

Americas leading chat show host recently featured guests who found fame on the hugely successful free video-sharing website YouTube.

Among the guests appearing on the show were Britain’s ‘Dirty Dancers’, Julia Buggio and James Derbyshire.

The couple who married over two years ago reenacted the final dance scene from the smash hit film ‘Dirty Dancing’. Friends of the couple uploaded the video of the dance onto the internet where it has attracted over 2.5 million hits.

Oprah invited the pair to perform the dance in front of a live studio audience. Unbeknownst to the couple Patrick Swayze was back stage. Half way through the routine, Patrick tapped James on the shoulder and cut in, to finish the dance with a shocked Julia.

icWales reported James to have said: “We chatted for a while (with Oprah) and then they said they wanted to see the dance.

I felt a tap on the shoulder

“We were halfway through when the audience started screaming. Julia stopped dancing and was frozen in my arms. I felt a tap on the shoulder and Patrick Swayze asked if he could cut in.

“I pretended I was jealous and sulking at the side. Then he looked at me and I shouted ‘let’s do the lift’.

“So I ran towards him and he put his arms out and he lifted me up. The reason he went on the show is because he liked the video. He said he loved what we had done and wanted to meet us. He’s a fabulous bloke and is so nice.”
