Eminem set for wedding in New Year
The US rap star Eminem is set to remarry his ex-wife later this month in a private ceremony.
The outspoken rapper revealed in a radio interview that he and his ex-wife had reconciled their differences and would be remarrying again.
The 33-year-old rapper, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, is set to renew his nuptials with his ex-wife Kim in Michigan on January 14th.
America’s Star magazine has reported that the wedding invitation reads: "This day I will marry my best friend, the one I laugh with, live for, love."
Not all members of his family have reportedly not met the news of Eminems remarriage with the same degree of emphasis. Eminem’s grandmother expressed her concerns as ‘In the News’ quoted her as saying: "He needs to think twice about marrying her again, or at least get a pre-nup this time around."
The couple first met when Kim was 12 and Eminem was 15. They first married in 1999 but divorced in 2001. The pair have a daughter, Hailie, aged 10 and Kim’s daughter, Whitney, aged two, from a former relationship, who Eminem has now adopted.
