Jailed Groom Freed in Time for Wedding

Stephen Mallone, paid the ultimate price for his nude stag antics by landing himself in jail.

The 25-year old Brit was on his stag do along with friends when he stripped off and leap into a fountain in Bratislava.

The local authorities arrested Stephen on May 26, for causing a public nuisance. He was then ‘fast tracked’ through the courts and was set to serve a two month jail sentence.

Stephen's father apologised

Stephens father was reported to have said his family wanted to: "unreservedly apologise for any distress or offence caused by Stephen to the people of Bratislava".

Stephens fiancée, Kerry Stokes a form carnival queen was reported to have told the Mail on Sunday: "I am struggling to take it all in and it has made an already stressful time even worse." However distressed Kerry, still hoped to go on her hen party.

Thanks to Bill Wiggin, Stephens local MP and his legal team, appointed by the Foreign Office Stephen has been freed and will make it in time for his £20,000 wedding after all.
