Jordan
In the weeks, leading up to Jordan and Peter Andres wedding many have suspected that Jordan has allowed nerves to get the better of her. With reports that Jordan phoned Chelsea Johnson, a former dancer whom Peter dated for 8 months some 10 years ago, demanding that Chelsea stay away from her fiancé who could blame her. Jordan, however, denies the allegation.
Jordan and Peter were hoping all eyes would be on their big day this Saturday, but as it happens there are a number of celebrities tying the knot over the weekend including GMTV presenter, Kate Garraway to Derek Draper and Super model, Jodie Kidd to Aidan Butler. There will even be a touch of royalty as Prince Charles stepson, Tom Parker Bowles and Sara Buys are due to be wed.
Jordan and Peters wedding plans have continued to fragment as a number of celebrities including Davina McCall, Denise Van Outen, Simon Cowell and Charlotte Church, whom had been invited to attend the wedding, have said they will be unable to.
Its also been reported that Jordan has snubbed a number of her own family by not inviting them to the wedding. Jordan’s estranged father told the Mirror: "She's got a new manufactured life now and she has left us behind."
All these events have helped detract away from the true spirit that surrounds getting married. I only hope that Jordan and Peter forget the media cameras for a few hours and remember their wedding day is for them and their family, not for the rest of the world.
