It seems that celebrities will try and do anything these days for a quiet life, and who can blame them. Just imagine hundreds of paparazzi descending upon your wedding day, uninvited, wanting that all-important shot of the bride and groom, regardless of the distress it may cause you.
It’s no wonder Bridget Jones star, Renee Zellweger tied the knot in secret.
Renee Zellweger, 36, wed country singer Kenny Chesney, 37, on Monday 9th May. Renee was said to have been spotted in the audience listening to Kenny perform earlier, before the couple jetted off together.
The happy couple married in secret on the Caribbean island of St Johns, where Kenny has a holiday home.
The two were married in a 15-minute ceremony in front of close friends and family.
It seems as if Kenny has swept the Oscar-winning actress off her feet as the two had met only four months earlier at a Tsunami Benefit Concert.
Some might say Renee married in a hurry, but I like to think she has just met the man of her dreams and wants to be with him. They got married on a paradise island, something that more and more couples are choosing to do.
