A Fine Romance
Newly weds, Tessa Brown, 33 and Mark Allerton, 40 have taken their wedding vows of “for better or worse” just a little to literally, as the pair had a row on their wedding night which resulted in Tessa assaulting Mark with her stiletto heels and trashing the bridal suite where they were staying.
Tessa was reportedly fined £250 and was ordered to pay the hotel £500 in compensation.
When the police arrived they found Tessa sitting on the bed surrounded by broken glass and wires pulled out of their sockets throughout the room. Tessa, who suffers from depression, had been drinking before the incident took place.
Tessa appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court and admitted to the charges of assault to injury and vandalism. The couple are still together and Tessa has sought the help of a councillor.
