Wedding chaos newsletter

Welcome to the third edition of the Wedding Chaos newsletter.

This edition we take a closer look at both wedding superstitions and traditions, getting married in Scotland, boudoir photography and we find out how the wedding went for our forum Moderator Stef and her new husband Martin.

Traditions or Superstitions?

lucky horshoePart one of our new Wedding Traditions or Just Superstitions article takes a look at Good Luck Charms, from your 'Lucky Horse Shoe' through to your 'Lucky Chimney Sweep'.

Are they traditions, or superstitions - maybe a bit of both?

You decide - take a read for yourself.

Advice Spotlight - Scotland

bagpipesScotland has beautiful scenery and buildings full of history so can make for a fantastic place for you to take your wedding vows.

The process of getting married in Scotland is very simple, provided that you have all the paperwork required. If the idea of having the Lock Ness Monster or glorious countryside in your wedding photos appeals to you, then read more

Boudoir Photography

Nicki Ward tells us; "When I first heard about boudoir photography I didn't really know what it was. boudoir photography [...] I had too many lumps and bumps in the wrong places.  I mean yeah right, as if I was going to stand in front of a camera in my underwear!!!!"

Tell you what though, she did go for it and the results are amazing.

Why not take a look for yourself :)

Your Wedding - Your Story

stfe and martinIn this edition we feature the wedding of forum Moderator Stef, to her husband Martin, in our Your Wedding - Your Story section.

Tip of the Issue

"How much postage to put on your invitations?" In the good old days you simply slapped a first class stamp on the envelope and shoved it into the post box - however, it seems Royal Mail has been introducing more rules to follow; not only how heavy, but what size and how thick are all now factors when considering postage.

Avoid the embarrassment of your guests having to collect, and pay for, their invitation from the local sorting office - if in doubt check how much postage to use with your local post office or via the Royal Mail website.

Thanks to Marilyn from the forums for this tip.

Competition Time!
