Choosing Your Perfume
Perfume is thousands of years old and the word "perfume" comes from the Latin per fume "through smoke", and one of the oldest uses of perfumes comes from the burning of incense and aromatic herbs that were used in religious services, often the aromatic gums, frankincense and myrrh, gathered from trees.
Today there is a massive choice of perfumes from the fresh sweet smell of flowers to heavy spicy aromatic scents and almost monthly we are seeing a new one added from fashion designers to pop stars, all launching their own perfumes and making it twice as daunting for us as is the case when trying to choose that perfect outfit!
If you would like to know more about using choosing the right perfume for your wedding, then read here
Henna Body Art
Henna is known by many other names including Mendhi, Egyptian Privet, Hinna, Lawsonia Inermis and Jamaica Mignonette.
The ancient art of henna adornment of the hands and feet is known as Mendhi. Mendhi is an art form which is believed to date back 5,000 years.
Henna is used by women to enhance their natural beauty on special occasions such as weddings.

Autumn Themed Wedding
There are colours a plenty in this glorious season of glowing gold’s, shimmering oranges, dark chocolate browns, hunter green and rich burgundy reds along with spices and mulled wine and the smell of bonfires with roasted chestnuts all add to the wonderful magical time of Autumn.
More colours of rust red, deep red, navy blue, eggplant purple, pewter, silver, pale yellow, pumpkin orange as well as white, ivory, champagne and beige mixed with twigs and berries can be used for a truly magical harvest type display.
If you want to know more about an Autumn Themed Wedding then read here.
Wedding Caricatures
There is a mind-boggling choice of entertainers available for weddings. There seem to be thousands of bands, DJs and magicians to choose from.
A little rarer are the Party Cartoonists. They often refer to themselves as On-The-Spot Caricaturists.
It is the caricaturist's job at parties to draw as many people as possible. A caricature invariably gets a whole crowd laughing and the ice melts immediately.
If you want to know more about having a Caricaturist at your wedding, then read here.
Tip of the Issue
Remember a roll of Sellotape for taping cards to present so you know who they were from.
It seems a trivial thing, but when people start handing you presents and cards all over the place, and you open the present, throw away the paper and you then have no idea who it was from when you wake up with a hangover the next day. Simply Sellotape the card / tag to the present and you will be sure to keep track of things. Thanks Sarah for that one.
If you have any great tips please let us know on the forum
