Welcome To Our Newsletter
The 11th Edition of our newsletter brings you four new wedding advice articles as well as all the other regular items and competitions.
We start with a look how to organise your drinks and canapés at your wedding then move on to that often tricky situation of how to deal with children on your wedding day. Tying a cravat or tie can always be a tricky one, and can get people worried if, as the Groom, you have not put your cravat on yet and the wedding is only minutes away.. still you can always ask the Registrar to tie it - it worked for me :) Once you are married it is important not to sit back and stop working at your relationship, we have some advice on how to keep your marriage fresh.
We also have all the usual stuff with tips, survey results and of course a couple of great competitions, the usual word search to win some chocolate from Little Red Dragon Crafts (yummy) and the main competition to win a personalised bottle of champagne in a wooden presentation box worth £45 from Corking Designs.
This edition is sponsored by The Bridal Consultant, specialists in destination weddings to Cyprus, New York, Zakynthos, Santorini and Australia.

Drinks and Canapés
On your wedding day you may have guests that arrive in the morning and remain with you throughout the whole day - sometimes it will be cold, sometimes it will be hot. You may have long gaps with your guests waiting around, for example during the photography.
With careful preparation and planning you can ensure that your guests don't get thirsty or hungry and if the weather is hot, or cold, that they can have something to eat or drink that cools them down, or warms them up. Getting your drinks and canapés right can be the difference between your guests enjoying your weddings as one long celebration and them enduring your wedding with long gaps, being hungry or thirsty or too hot or cold.

Children at your Wedding
Are you umming and arring about whether to invite children to your wedding? Are you worried that if you do they might ruin your big day?
For some couples whether or not to invite children to their wedding can pose a real dilemma. Many couples worry about offending guests if they don’t invite their children and if they do invite them, they then worry about the extra cost and the potential problems some little tearaways can cause...

Keep your Marriage Fresh
It often all begins with:
"I, (...), take you, (...), to be my husband, to have and to hold from this day forward; for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, (or to love, cherish, and obey) till death us do part, according to God's holy law; and this is my solemn vow."
Sadly, for far too many, it ends in divorce.

How to Tie a Cravat or Tie
Today the cravat is very much a part of the fashion wardrobe of the groom if he has chosen to wear a traditional morning suit, however, it is widely accepted, if the groom should prefer a more contemporary look, he may wish to opt for the necktie.
Whether it's the cravat, or the necktie, you choose it is important to be able to tie the knot.
If you would like to know more about tying your cravat or tie, including our illustrated step-by-step instructions, then read here.
Tip of the Issue
If you are marrying abroad make sure that you wear a strapless bikini or swimming costume in the run up to the wedding to avoid unsightly strap marks!
Thanks to Sarah for that one :)
