Wedding Favours
The wedding favour custom originated from Italy. Wedding favours,
traditionally called “bomboniere“, were made from five
sugar-coated almonds gathered together in different tulles or nets.
The almonds signified health, happiness, long-life and fertility,
which were given by the Bride to all her female guests. The favour
would be place on guest’s tables and they would be kept as
a keepsake, as a memory of the Wedding Day.

Brides Veil
Wedding Veils were once used to conceal a bride’s identity from the groom when arranged marriages took place and a couples’ first meeting was at the altar just before they were to say their vows.
The bride was ‘delivered’ at the altar by her father and the veil was not removed until after the ceremony once they had been pronounced man and wife.
Today the veil is still seen in some religions as a symbol of purity and when the father of the bride lifts the veil off his daughter’s face it signifies him ‘giving his daughter’ to the groom.

Healthy Eyes
The eyes speak volumes and never more so when saying those vows to your loved one on your wedding day when the ‘the look of love’ is shown to each other.
Sleepy, bloodshot or bleary eyes can somehow take away that special moment when you or your partner may find yourselves staring into unhealthy eyes with drooping eyelids or worse still, gunged filled pores.
Eyes are as important to us as sunlight is to plants, water to oceans and oxygen for our planet and keeping our eyes healthy should be at the top of the priorities list throughout our lives.

With its golden stretches of sandy beaches and sheltered bays and coves, many of which have been awarded the Blue Flag, chances are you could well find your own paradise spot while spending your honeymoon there.

Jac and Simon
I'll start with the night before the wedding as that's where it really begins. After the rehearsal I was whisked away from my fiance and to my mums.
My mum had decorated the house with dozens of red and white roses to match the colour scheme and her back garden was filled with red, white and black balloons with her trees full of candles and fairy lights.
I woke in the morning with a bit of a fright, it took me a few minutes to gather my thoughts and realise where I was. My stepdad banged in at half 7 trying to wind me up and telling me that it was half 9 and I should be up. I did get up but I wandered through to my mum’s room and crawled into her bed where we lay and put the world to rights for a couple of hours....

Tip of the Issue
"When you're having your hair styled on your wedding day, wear a shirt not t-shirt.
If you wear a shirt it can be unbuttoned and will not damage your lovely hairdo."
