Bridal Earrings
Earrings are the ultimate face furniture and can be the final finishing touch to just about any outfit. And of all the outfits you will wear, there are none as important as your wedding outfit.
Your dress, shoes and flowers will be decided on with so much thought, time and effort right down to the last bead or carnation; as will your hairstyle and headdress so make sure you don't let things down by choosing the wrong earrings.
Wedding jewellery can be as elegant and simple or chunky and sparkling as your style of dress and hairstyle and should be matched well without the threat of overpowering the final perfect assemblage.

Bridal Stockings & Suspenders
Stockings have been around for over 400 years when Reverent William Lee invented the knitting machine in 1589 and wool, cotton and silk were used to make what was once called ‘hose’ and worn mostly be men.
It was with the introduction of nylon in the 1930’s that an affordable alternative to silk stockings became available which caused a revolution in the stocking market and it became socially acceptable for women to show their legs.
On the first day that stockings were first placed in shops in 1940 a New York store sold over 780,000 pairs of nylons and over 64 million pairs were sold in the US alone.

Shaving Tips for the Groom
Men have striven for hundreds of years for that smooth perfect shave and ever since days of old when seashells were used like tweezers to pluck out unwanted hair from faces, shaving razors have become more and more high tech.
Bottles of oils, lotions and splash-on aftershave can be found on today’s modern man’s bathroom shelf alongside his ‘trusty’ razor which all work together to obtain that baby soft shaven face.

Heatherden Hall - Wedding Venue
Pinewood Studio’s brings to mind classic films such as The Great Gatsby; Carry on up the Khyber and Where Eagles Dare but long before it was a movie making studio the original manor house held many banquets and balls while undergoing a catalogue of owners and transformations.
Heatherden Hall can be found nestled in the midst of a large secluded and beautifully sculptured garden. An ornamental bridge spanning a lake, breathtaking statues and a vast array of water features with spectacular tree lined walkways can all be found in the serene surroundings.

John Lennon and Yoko Ono
“It was all very quick, quiet and British.”
John Winston Lennon married Yoko Ono in Gibraltar by special licence in a three minute ceremony on Friday 21st March 1969.
It was John Lennon who commented on his marriage ceremony being so conventional. Who would have thought that one of the great icons of modern music would have had such a simple and ‘British’ affair?

World of Wedding Favours
Our homes generally set the trend for forthcoming wedding colour schemes along with the seasonal catwalk trends in current fashion styles.
And so the question on every bride & wedding planner’s lips is, ‘What will be the hot wedding colour trends for 2009?’
2007 and 2008 have seen our brides showcasing the following colour trends; Soft Greens with White, Lilac with Purple tones, Chocolate Brown and anything in Monochrome Black & White. These colours have been so popular and may still continue into 2009 weddings & events, though an explosion in fresher, brighter colours is more likely.
