    Accessories For The Brides Hair

When it comes to today’s modern bride she is looking for something that is a little bit more special and unique yet still fits in with her personality and how she likes to look.

Tiara’s while still the popular choice for a lot of brides-to-be are still not for everybody, yet certain hairstyles need and cry out for something to not only hold it all together but also to give that added sparkle.

This is where the vast choices of hair accessories come into their own when they can be used to dress up a hair style by adding decadence and subtle sparkle and help give any bride the confidence of knowing her wonderful hairstyle will stay firmly in place.

    Wedding Time Capsules

time capsuleA growing trend between newlyweds is a wedding time capsule that can be filled with mementos and treasures of the day they got married and then opened on another special occasion like a 10 year or 25th wedding anniversary.

A time capsule can be given as a wedding present to the bride and groom and for couples who are stuck on what to give as gifts to their bridesmaids and best man this unusual memory holder could be just what they are looking for in unique and wonderful ideas. Wedding party members can fill up their own time capsule in a way they remember it most and remind you many years later.

Groom - Hair Care & Styling

groom hair Some men after a trip to the barbers generally don’t worry if the cut is a good or bad one and unlike women will just ‘get on with it’ because it soon grows back again and as long as it’s easy enough to ‘comb and go’ they put up with it until the next haircut is due.

On the other hand there is a lot of men who know what they want with reference to their hair and will change barbers many times before they finally find the one that understands how their hair grows and gets the haircut he is really happy with.

Like us women, men have their bad and good hair days and getting regular haircuts is top of the list when it comes to maintaining good style and a head of healthy hair.

    Honeymoon in Jamaica

Thoughts of reggae, Bob Marley, rum, romance and white sands are at the forefront when the Caribbean island of Jamaica with its dazzling colours of reds, gold’s and greens spring to mind.

The Caribbean’s third largest island has a pulsating beat of music with cricket, coffee and rice-and-peas keeping the soul wanting to come back time and time again.

Spend your honeymoon days amid such breathtaking views of blue mountain peaks, vibrant tropical flowers and white sandy beaches with crystal clear sparking ice-blue oceans. Take in the evening delights of lively clubs, fine restaurants and amazing sunsets.

    Pet Weddings

pet wedding At one time it was said that ‘only in America’ could weird and bizarre events take place but eyelids no longer seem to blink when we hear of pet weddings taking place.

Such is the growing popularity among people wanting to ‘marry’ off their favourite pet that companies are now offering everything from the wedding certificate to the dream honeymoon and designer wedding outfits for animals have become more easily available.

Man’s ‘best friend’ is now being given his own ‘best man’ at his wedding where he has a special ‘ring’ pillow fitted around his neck with a decorative collar sitting on top and used during the ceremony.

    Did You Know?
    - Signing the Register -

fountain penHave you ever wondered why photographs are not allowed for the official signing of the Register?

Well, here is your answer :)

The registry book used for recording marriages in England and Wales contains four marriage entries per page.

Under the Data Protection Act other couples details can not be divulged to other members of the public, hence why the registrar will ask couples to sign the book and then give them a dummy copy, which can be used to pose for photographs.

If, however, you are the first entry on the page then it is up to the discretion of individual  Superintendent Registrar as to whether they will allow you to take a photograph or not.  If you spot you are first – ask the question!

In Scotland the law is different as couples do not actually sign a register, rather a Marriage Schedule.  There is only one entry which appears on the marriage schedule, and this is your own. In this case there would not be a breach in data protection and as such registrars in Scotland do allow photographs during the official signing of the Marriage Schedule.
