Wedding Dress Fitting
The following information is to give you, the bride-to-be a little bit of an insight as to what to expect when going for a fitting for your wedding dress.
As all brides come in different shapes and sizes, it is only natural to assume that bridal gowns also come in varying sizes and shapes.
A bride-to-be can walk into a bridal shop and see a wonderful dress hanging on the rail and know instantly that it is the one for her but when trying it on discovers that perhaps her bust is not big enough to fill the bodice or that her hips are slightly too big for the zip to go up etc.

Cava vs Champagne
How do you choose what to serve at your wedding? It can be a difficult decision for some couples depending on their circumstances.
Some couples could be completely tee total and prefer no alcohol at all while others might wish to have a choice for their guests.
It is however customary to have an alcoholic drink such as Champagne or Cava while toasting the bride and groom and this article is intended to give you some ideas about what you might like to serve on your special day!

Grooms Emergency Kit
Why would a Groom need an emergency kit? Well, just like a nervous bride-to-be there could be some little hiccups the day of the wedding where you may need a tool or two to help you get back on track.
Every kit will be personal to the Groom in question of course but this article should give you some ideas to help you get started!
For a bride who breaks a fingernail the morning of her wedding day some nail glue is a lifesaver but this could also be the case for a Groom who takes pride in his nails and has had them manicured for the big day. So, whether you are the Bride, the Groom or the Best Man who has decided to collect a few items for the survival kit, try to think ahead of all the possible things that could happen and what you can collect to avert a possible disaster.

The First Dance Song
Choosing that first dance can be a difficult decision for many couples due to be married whereas for others they do not even have to think twice about their first song as they know straight away what it will be, whether it is the first song they danced to together or perhaps the song that was number one in the charts the first day that they met.
Whatever your choice is the song should be special to the pair of you!
Usually it is the bride and groom that start the evening off with the first dance. They are out on the dance floor for a while surrounded by their guests who are clicking away with cameras and mobile phones and after a while the couple are joined by the wedding party such as the best man, the maid of honour and then the couple's parents before everyone begins to take to the dance floor one by one.

Mel and Howards Wedding
The few days leading up to the wedding were a little strange. I went to my parents house on the Sunday as it was mothers day and it was really hard not to let it slip but I managed it!!
The Monday was quite uneventful and we both had an earlyish night for the journey to Gretna on the Tuesday morning.
Tuesday morning we woke up and started to pack the car. Howard said to me 'you bring everything down from the bedroom & I'll pack the car' (he's so much better at that sort of stuff than me!!)
