Involving Close Friends & Family in your Wedding

involving familySo you've already chosen your wedding attendants. They all have their specific roles. But you would still like to find a way to involve close friends and family in your wedding. But how do you do it?

In planning a wedding there are many tasks which can be cared out by close friends or family which aren't allocated to the wedding attendants. These tasks are just as important in ensuring the wedding day runs smoothly.



Here are some suggestions:

  • Have them do either a reading, sing a song or play a piece of music during the ceremony.
  • Get them to handout the order of service for the wedding ceremony.
  • Be a witness.
  • Distribute confetti to all the female guests.
  • Liase with the photographer in organising guests for the wedding photographs.
  • Ensure the flower arrangements are transported to the ceremony reception if applicable.
  • Organise the receiving line for the bride and groom.
  • Get them to collect in the fun cameras at the end of the evening reception.
  • Oversee the guest book.
  • Deliver the wedding gifts to the home of the bride and groom after the wedding reception
