Wedding Venues
Apart from the wedding dress and rings the wedding venue could be thought of as being the next most important thing to organise for your wedding.

Careful consideration should be given when choosing your wedding location. There are many factors to consider including availability, budget, whether or not you want to hold your wedding ceremony and wedding reception in the same location, capacity, wedding theme and time of year in which you want to get married to name but a few.

Once you have found a number of possible venues go and visit them. Find out what facilities they have available. Read through there different wedding packages. Find out if you can add additional decorations to the room you are using. If the venue is small could you hire a marquee? If the venue is surrounded by grounds find out whether you would have access to them on the day and would there be any additional cost. Do they have an in-house catering service and if not do they have a working kitchen for you to bring our own caterer.

Do they have an alcohol license? Can you allowed your own alcohol and if so would you have to pay a corkage fee.

All these questions and many more should be answered before you can choose the right wedding venue. Do bear in mind when booking your wedding date, hiring a wedding venue will often be much cheaper if booked out of peak wedding season and during a week day.
