With music to suit everyone's taste, the eighties are famous for the new romantics and electronic sounds that were created. You could enjoy eighties music throughout the evening with songs from Bananarama, Blondie, Boy George, Bruce Springsteen, Duran Duran, Eric Clapton, Madness, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Prince, Tina Turner, UB40 and Wham to name a few. The most important song for the evening though is the first dance and there are so many romantic songs to choose from including:

Memorable TV of the 80s
How great would it be to base your wedding around one of your favourite films from that era? Perhaps you and your partner could dress as Star Wars characters or have your décor based on the film Indiana Jones. Famous 80s Weddings
There were plenty of stars who got married in the eighties, some of who are remembered the world over. The ones that stick out the most include:
- Brummie born Ozzy Osbourne married his partner Sharon in July 1982.
- Demi Moore married Bruce Willis in November 1987.
- In June 1980 Mel Gibson married Robyn Moore.
- Madonna and Sean Penn married in August 1985 after dating for less than a year but their rocky relationship only lasted four years.
- Pierce Brosnan and Cassandra Harris were married in December 1980 and stayed together until her death in December 1991.
- Prince Charles and Lady Diana were married in front of millions of TV viewers in July 1981 and their wedding is one that everyone remembers, especially the secrecy surrounding Diana's wedding dress.
- Another Royal wedding took place in July 1986 when Prince Andrew married Sarah Ferguson.
- Robyn Smith married the debonair Fred Astaire in June 1980.
- Tony and Cherie Blair are happily married and have been so since March 1980.
